Mayday! Mayday! Hey, it's May Day! Time to get a little silly (but serious too) about TOOTING and release (heh heh) The Fartniss Disco!

Lederhosen Lucil was game to sing on this one. She is supposed to release her narrative dance song about going on a Romanesco Hunt this spring but has been in the Pantry keeping safe from C. We got her out briefly to record some vox on this! The story? Krista's magic niece VV is an amazing giggler and when she giggles, well, she toots and then that makes her giggle and you can see...a cycle of hilariousness!

How did this song come to "pass"? (heh heh...this "about this track" officially brought to you by the omniscient 46-day quarantine brain of hypo records)

Back in December 2019 Krista started calling VV "Little Farnick" and when she sang "The Farnick disco" spontaneously VV joined in but changed it to Fartniss which made Krista laugh even harder...This song is built from the little sample of them singing it for the first time into her phone. You can't replicate that kind of spontaneity or cuteness so noise and clunkiness aside, BOOM voila! We give you...the FARTNISS DISCO!

Side note: Krista has been recovering from a heart condition since quarantine began (booo! but yay for on the mend) so we thought a nice bean casserole and releasing this song today might help cheer her up. Even though she really would have preferred a full studio version with strings and maybe a producer like Jeff Lynne at the helm (and decent mics and and and...). But we digress...time to dance! And toot!
