Originally I wrote Beautiful Trap on my baritone ukulele while living on Bernard with my bud Adam Brown (circa 2014?) I really liked it but couldn't figure out how I wanted to record it genre/style-wise etc. Couldn't figure out what to do with it so it went in the box of orphan songs (which now is the title of a song coming out in Spring 2020...conceived at Banff).

You just heard the Buddy Holly meets The Clash (?) Banff version but when digging through old demos (there were SO MANY for this song...slow omnichord version, raw uke etc.) I cam across this one and had a giggle! I'm a child of the 80's and this just felt so nostalgic I couldn't help but include in this EP. So here it is! With some theremin (thanks KM) I added in...

*It includes the original bridge that got cut by our in-house bridge burner at Banff Dustin. ;)
