about
Pierre Crube, known as 50% of Montreal duo "Numéro", takes Krista Muir's ethereal pop song "Between Atoms" and remixes it for the dance floor. Originally commissioned by Greek painter Stefanos Rokos for his exhibit "Horror And Romance on Another Planet" this extended version allowed Krista to add a rap section where she gets excited about the "theory of everything" and ultra-connectivity.
lyrics
You seem to float between the atoms
Your quarks revealed in glowing shapes
Living beneath a broken bell jar
Vibrating strings adorn this place
And oh...what lies beneath us?
And oh...what lies between us?
And as we float between the atoms
We seem to float out of our dreams
Our quarks revealed in glowing shapes
Formlike shapes reach out as receivers
We live beneath a broken bell jar
Reaching out engaged in grey matters
Vibrating strings adorn our space
Are we here or are we far from...
Oh...what lies beneath us?
And oh...what lies between us?
Oh...what lies beneath us?
And oh...what lies between us?
Horror and romance on another planet
super string theory gonna wow your Janet
great contender for the "T-O-E"
hollographic consistency
not your standard model of particle physics
Witten says "yeah" while Feynman disses
The nature of laws while the laws of nature
dance on the line of nomenclature
positively rocking supersymmetry
the theory of ultra-connectivity
From Kormoranos to this fresh fruit
Beta K's coming atcha bringing the styles that suit
Suit up for this interstellar quest
between atoms that is where we all will rest
reach for the stars
our arms will reach no matter how far they are
Oh...what lies beneath us?
And oh...what lies between us?
Oh...what lies beneath us?
And oh...what lies between us?
